Strolling down Paris's sprawling Sunday flea market 'Marche Dauphine' among the masses of antique and african odd job shops one suddenly comes across the most eye catching stall of the lot.

Bizarre Hockneyesque Picasso like Dali-ish paintings using cascading neon bright colours of all persuasions to create some of the most remarkable original pop art seen this side of Lichstenstein and even Warhol.

Ronaldo Enright is the diminutive figure behind the quite dazzling display of artwork on display - much of it etched on wooden boards to give an extra ethnic effect. Ronaldo is a self trained artist in his 50's without any formal art school training which renders his work all the more remarkable considering the skill and imagination involved.

Ronaldo Enright is originally from Argentina though has been painting and living in Paris for many years now. Whatever you do, when browsing the Marche Dauphine, do make a stopover at Stand 119 and admire some of the wonderful artwork on display.
