The atmosphere is a little stiff and the décor not at all laid back with lots of sharp imagery with plentiful use of steel and glass. Its well designed but doesn't exude any particular warmth. The menu is fairly extensive and offers something for someone including a Soup de Jour which happened to be an exquisite Potato and Leek soup. Beautifully delicate in flavour and served piping hot. The service was helpful and polite and considerate of our inability to speak the language without severe messing up. The effort was at least not mocked as it can quite easily be in Paris. The main course was a juicy veal chop garnished with parsley and served with some fries and greens. Though absolutely delicious one almost wished that one was confronted with a seriously sized American serving rather then a meager French one. Alas the meal was over all too soon, delicious but too short.
