The only film that we know of that has the power to reduce supposedly sane men to hysterical fits of uncontrollable laughter at its mere memory!

Spinal Tap is by far and away the funniest film we have ever laid our eyes on. There is not a single joke or gag that doesn't work perfectly, so much so that people have been fooled into believing that it was the real thing.

The merciless ragging of the Def Leppard, Aerosmith type of rock band is unerringly spot on. The entire experience is one that works from the very opening shot to the very last scenes that accompany the credits, downright hysterical.

This is one of 5 movies that this reviewer would take to a desert Island, absolutely essential, lifesaving stuff. A colossal achievement, spot on in every way. The songs themselves are amazingly written, each a classic in its own right, though for nostalgic purposes, Stonehenge remains an endearing favourite.

The best spoof we have ever encountered, bar none. Just in case, the film follows the North American tour of a rapidly fading band with zero talent, but one which in the past has captured the worlds imagination with a hit song here and there just to sustain their existence! Anyway, things are not going well for Tap at the start of the tour and troubles start mounting when girlfriends joing the trip. Shows up heavy metal and its ilk as being the utter shite that it is. TAP Rules!!
