Bizarre little entry turns out to be a complete surprise package. This weird film about a group of travellers coming across a deserted roadside gas station cum diner with some very, VERY strange and sick inhabitants.

Wonderful mixture of some genre classics such as Texas Chainsaw and Carrie plus a good dosage of Psycho all set to a brilliantly eerie and chilling Pino Donaggio score, this little film certainly manages to hit the spot in a big way. Unheralded and largely unknown film which was difficult ot find on video until recently deserves to be seen and admired by horror fans.

It's clearly one that sort of slipped by unnoticed among the torrent of horror in the early 80's, yet we think this one is several cuts above the usual fare, in fact one of our favourite horror films here at The Hot Spot. Weird, eerie and scary - exactly how we like our movies!!
