David Cronenberg's breakthrough horror sensation years ago has been re-released on DVD. This film is truly warped, utterly sick, but an absolute must for any horror film fan. Winner of the Best Film Award at the years Horror and Sci Fi Film Festival, and its no wonder why. A V.D. like virus spreads like wildfire within a luxury apartment complex leaving victims as insatiable sex starved zombies! An excellently perverse Cronenberg idea, reflecting on basic human behavior....remember Freud's Id, Ego and Superego? Are we all like the zombies from Shivers just below the surface?

Frighteningly real - introduces a most bizarre and truly despicable turd-like virus creature thing......Yuk!
