Baffling and heady mixture of moralizing and mayhem done in the worst manner but with the best intent by master director Ed Wood. The film has attained legendary status and is largely recognized as being the "worst movie ever" which is most certainly isn't. Obviously desi films were not part of the competition because this laughable classic would appear like an academy award winner in front compared to some of our own home grown gems. Anyway, the events of the film are too mind boggling to even attempt to explain.

The plot is marvelously insane and the acting of a level that defies description. Yet the fantastic lectures delivered by the alien beings deserve to be heard by all governments all around the world especially those of India and Pakistan. Perhaps they would learn a thing or two! This is truly vintage movie making from a master director at the peak of his extraordinarily inept powers. Yet there is more than a certain charm to proceedings and the film does indeed stand up to several repeat viewings. It has quite rightly attained the mantle of supreme midnight cult classic. Tor Johnson and Vampyra will forever be remembered and worshipped for their portrayals in this film. The film will remain Cool forever long after people have forgotten the mushy, middling stuff like Titanic. Behold the joys of awful movies…..they don't come much "better" than this one. ..
