This movie is a factual account of the murder spree of Richard Ramirez AKA The Night Stalker in the summer of '85. The film basically just follows events rather than try to make any analysis of what motivated Ramirez to kill. It plays rather like a sterile TV detective drama with the acting and production levels to match. The direction is leaden and lacks any spark or flair. It's basically a made for TV thriller that is of interest not so much to movie watchers but for those interested in the subject matter. A remarkably ordinary effort.
