Embarrassing performance by Pacino in an equally embarrassing thriller set in the seedy gay underworld of New York City in the pre AIDS era. A serial killer is on the prowl offing unsuspecting amorous gay men brazenly in public places. It is up to Pacino to find the killer and to do so he must goes undercover with hilarious results.

Unfortunately its such a dreary and bleak experience that one can't even enjoy it as simply a fun bad movie. Pacino would best like to expunge this from memory no doubt, he has hardly ever been worse. A putrid failure of a movie that begs the question "was The Exorcist a fluke for Bill Friedkin?" or is there evidence to suggest otherwise.
