Insane storyline given brilliant treatment and script resulting in one of the surprise packages of the 80's. Thoroughly enjoyable and good for a laugh as well as a bit of a scare. Chucky, just in case any one had forgotten is a lovable cuddly doll transformed into maniacal, frustrated serial killer.

This happens in the premise when Charles Lee Ray, one of history's worst serial killers is finally cornered in the toy section of some shop. To save himself from being captured he babbles some funky voodoo stuff and manages to transfer his body into the next thing resembling human form, the cute cuddly doll we have all grown to love, Chucky. Its genuinely funny and equally scary along the way. A demented rollercoaster ride of a horror film.
