A mad scientist, in the middle of a swamp tries to create a race of super humans. The film is beyond the definition of "cheapness." The rain during the thunderstorm is so fake… the monster has a slight defect in that it's obviously dead while carrying out it's murderous assaults. The gunshots are propelled by jerking arm movements, and the crocodile scene is clearly borrowed from some National geographic archives.

Ed Wood has certainly gone to beyond the extremes of tackiness with this giant sized turkey. The only decent thing about the film other than Lugosi's demented antics is his very snazzy laboratory. The plot is indescribable, something about Lugosi being summoned back to his native country or some such nonsense. It's a movie normal people to steer well away from and is just about the longest 78 minutes that can ever be experienced.
